Dying isn’t a medical event. It is a human one. We have accompanied each other through the bookends of life – birth and death – since the beginning of time. However, in our modern western way of life, with the disbursement of families, multiple generations no longer living together, over-dependence on technology, and the bias embedded in our health care system, people have lost touch with the naturalness of dying and how best to support people going through it. As a result, too many people die in fear and unnecessary suffering.
It can be scary to talk about death. End of Life, Death Midwife, Palliative Care Doula or Death Doulas fill a great need by providing professional guidance and a personal touch during a challenging time. They can help the dying person reflect on their life and values, help with legacy projects, such as creating letters, recordings, or art, and guiding family members through the emotional challenges of the dying process. Doulas can also help with practical tasks and provide respite. Though they are not covered by insurance, many people find death doulas an important service, as a compliment to hospice or palliative care.
Our team of caring, experienced Death Doulas, utilize bodywork, energy and breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation practices and a compassionate insightful ear to help you and your family navigate the very personal end of life experience. Whether it is emotional, spiritual, mental, physical, financial, or legal advocacy, we offer support, guidance and resources to help make the end-of-life transition peaceful and compete.
*Offering both female and male Doula options
Asking for help can be daunting. Maybe needing support feels like a sign of weakness, or you might be reluctant to accept help when it’s offered, only reaching out when you are on the brink of drowning. Maybe you think you aren't worthy of the help you need or fear burdening others. This chapter of your life is a call to break these narratives.
Our culture does little to create safe spaces for the expression of grief. I want to gently remind you that your grief, rage, resentment, guilt, remorse, longing and all the other feelings coursing through your body belong here. You belong. Your feelings belong. We need a variety of ways to allow our feelings to surface and be expressed. As our grief evolves, so do our ways of working with it.”
I have personally experienced the loss of a loved one and have spent many years sitting beside countless Moms, Dads, Grandparents, siblings, spouses and friends as they begin their grief journey. Now as a grief educator I utilize bodywork techniques, energetic balancing, mindfulness and meditation practices and resilience coaching to help you navigate difficult life transitions by addressing both the emotional and physical needs and fostering holistic healing and resilience.
It is my heartfelt mission to walk alongside you and offer compassionate guidance and transformative support.

Have you ever asked yourself why when you think everything is in place for forward motion you still feel like you are treading water? Have you ever felt like your energy might be blocked?
Energy healing is a complementary approach based on the belief that our bodies have energy flowing through them, and that healing can come from helping to balance this flow, per the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Healing therapy, also known as energy medicine, is a technique in which a practitioner channels healing energy through their hands to the client’s body to restore energy balance, which in turn brings about purported health benefits. *Energy healing may or may not involve physical touch.
At The Monarch Group, work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that are tailored to their unique challenges by taking a collaborative approach to your success. Our team of experienced energy practitioners utilize bodywork, energy and breathing techniques to help you understand what is blocking your "qi" in Traditional Chinese Medicine or "prana" in Ayurveda and empower you to release that which no longer serves you. Finally, we balance and reset your energy. Each session clearing away unwanted energy and replacing it with loving high vibrational powerful energy.
*Karuna and Usui Reiki practitioners providing energetic cleansing, balancing, and healing for you, your home, and your work environment. Offering both female and male healing practitioner options.
In 1969, Elisabeth Kübler Ross first identified the stages of dying in her transformative book On Death and Dying. Decades later, she and David Kessler wrote the classic On Grief and Grieving, introducing the stages of grief with the same transformative pragmatism and compassion, however now there is a sixth stage "finding meaning".
Ikigai is a Japanese word that means "life purpose" or "reason for being". It refers to defining your personal meaning of life in relation to your talents, passions, and profession, as well as what you can give to the wider world.
At the Monarch Group, we help our clients recognize their emotional awareness and how they react to challenging situations. We teach coping strategies like deep breathing, relaxation techniques, energy balancing, positive self-talk, and cognitive reframing to manage stress effectively and coach you to manage your emotional challenges to help you rebuild your life after loss. By helping you navigate the grief journey, with improved awareness and confidence we can create achievable goals toward your purpose.
We may never get answers for all the “why”s of loss - why it happened, why now, why him/her? But we can find meaning in what comes next by healing and then finding meaning and purpose in our lives again.
Have you ever wanted to start a business? maybe a non-profit? Maybe relocate to follow your passion? What is your Ikigai? The sky is the limit
We curate events for growth, healing and community in a private setting.
What is a women's circle - a women's circle healing event is a gathering of women supporting each other, sharing experiences, and practicing self-care. Women's circles can help participants feel supported, empowered, and celebrated.
These events can be a safe space for women to feel seen and heard, by tapping into the transformative power of sisterhood and shared experiences. Circles can help relieve stress, with guided meditation, sound baths, Reiki healing and release of ideas and behaviors that are no longer of purpose or value to help guests set intentions to carry forward.
Universal Life Ministers available for House Blessings, Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals and Celebration of Life Events.
